The course focuses on the theoretical aspects of culture, cultural dimension, interculturality and its barriers as well as the generation of dynamic action proposals for implementing an intercultural approach within the classroom, since it focuses on applying this theoretical knowledge into practical context.
The competences addresses the fundamental aspects of identity, values and own culture, as well as enhancing the communication, social and interpersonal skills with people coming from diverse backgrounds. More concretely, the course is divided into 4 main modules.
– Introduction to interculturality
– Theoretical approach
– Barriers of intercultural education
– Intercultural education in practice
Moreover, the course aims to enhance multicultural and intercultural competences of both students and teachers
