Focus/Objectives
The programme will be delivered with an emphasis on experiential and inter-communicational modes of learning. It will facilitate graduates with opportunities to develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes to prepare them for working in diverse minority and multicultural contexts and exploring the nature of stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination.
Competences addressed
– To know the main consequences of the globalisation and immigration in Spain
– Learn about the key aspects of intercultural citizenship
– Apply into educational environments interventions targeted to promote intercultural citizenship
– To learn basic aspects about interculturality and develop intercultural competencies
– Obtain basic knowledge about intercultural legislation
– To learn how to place interculturality at the centre of education in diverse classrooms
– To learn about behaviour, values and skills that must be accomplished and interiorised by students in primary schools.
