Critical Understanding of Diversity: The ability to critically understand and analyze concepts and assumptions about diversity and difference, including ability, disability, socio-economic background, race, ethnicity, culture, beliefs, religion, and gender characteristics.
Awareness of Inclusive Education: Developing awareness of both historical and contemporary definitions, policies, theories, and models of inclusive education.
Contextual Analysis Skills: Gaining the ability to critically analyze different educational contexts to identify barriers to creating inclusive and equitable quality education.
Strategies for Inclusivity: Acquiring knowledge and strategies to develop inclusive and equitable quality education that caters to the diverse characteristics and needs of all learners.
