This online course aims to improve understanding of inclusive education principles and practices. It focuses on the concept of "special educational needs" and how to identify and address these needs in the classroom. The program covers legislative frameworks, pedagogical approaches, and practical strategies for inclusion. It also aims to develop teachers' reflective practices and their ability to collaborate with other professionals and families.
Participants will enhance their skills in identifying various types of special educational needs, including learning difficulties, disabilities, and behavioral challenges. They will develop competencies in adapting curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse needs, implementing individualized education plans, and using appropriate assessment techniques. The course also addresses skills in collaborative teamwork and effective communication with families and support services.
