Description:
The project focuses on several areas:
- addressing the problem of an overcrowd diverse classroom and the needs of their students
- Addressing the problem of lacking flexible and diverse educational programmes, with a concrete focus on the pressure that the rigid exams have on students and its results
- Address the lack of confidence and motivation that school leaders and teachers have on promoting DEI strategies in their educational centres, allowing them to speek freely about their experiences and challenges
- Tackling (unconscious) biases in school communities.
The tangible results of the project are:
- Face to face training addressing the above mentioned challenges and issues
- Development of an online MOOC specifically designed for newly qualified teachers that recently joined new educational context, to provide them with confidence in working in diverse settings
- Tools for effective and efficient communication for sharing good inclusive practices
- As an ultimate goal, the project aims to influence at an European level, having an impact on EU policies and educational agendas
