MEWEM EUROPA is a European mentoring program aimed at encouraging women in the music industry to become entrepreneurs. Active from October 2020 to September 2022, it is managed by FELIN (France), VUT (Germany) and LABA, in collaboration with the European Union as part of Music Moves Europe. The mentoring program connects budding female creators with experienced professionals, entrepreneurs or managers, for support over a defined period. The role-model model plays a crucial role, with the mentor transferring her experience to strengthen the mentee’s posture and ensure the sustainability of her business. At the same time, the objective is to strengthen a network of female music professionals, highlighting those who are entrepreneurs and supporting those who wish to become entrepreneurs.
